Review: MacPokerOnline.com

On the topic of site design, aesthetics, and overall usefulness today I am going to review MacPokerOnline.com which offers Mac Poker, Pacific Poker, and FullTilt Poker. Anyone who has read other blogs of mine know I am an avid poker fan, player, web developer in the area, and overall betting fan in the area so MacPokerOnline.com had a high standard to live up to.

I like the first impressions of the site. It is very green (almost to the point of being over the top) but it made me think of winning money which is always a good thing on poker websites. The website runs some good affiliate programs on the front page offering bonuses assuming you meet the qualifications.

The Good:

  • Many languages
  • Lots of resource links for beginners
  • Bonuses and tournaments
  • Links to reputable sites like Bodog.com
The Bad:
  • Poker, where? Maybe I was just unable to find it but I had a difficult time finding poker on the site. Perhaps it is because I am on a Windows PC but I could only find links to other sites, but it may simply be a resource website.
  • Legal? An internet gambling ban that went into effect last year made it difficult to play online poker (in the US). To their credit the site does have a video about the ban, although more detail and full disclosure would go a long way in my book.
Final verdict: If you are interested in online poker on a mac and have had back luck finding a site for your play check out the site to see if they have anything that interests you. It's easy to navigate site and good bonus opportunities give you a chance to make some money.
